One to start with, as many as they want alongside
Start with one, by age
Junior for 5 to 7, Create for 8 to 14. This is where belt progress happens, and it is all a ninja needs.
Add any of the others
Robotics, AI and VR each run one evening a week, for ninjas who want more than one subject.
Coding fits around you
Create is drop-in whenever we are open. The weekly classes have a set time, so they go in the calendar.
Class times
Create is drop-in, with 1-hour sessions during open hours. Academies are weekly classes.
Closed Friday and Sunday. Tap any session to read about that program.
The question everyone asks now
If AI can write code, why should my child learn to?
A fair question. Here is the straight answer, and where it comes from.
Someone still decides what to build
A model writes code that looks right. Knowing whether it is right is a separate skill.
Writing it is how the thinking forms
We still ask children to write their own stories, though AI writes passable prose. Code works the same way.
Most of the skill is thinking, not typing
Break a problem down, be precise, test it, work out why. That outlasts whatever tool writes the syntax.
Understanding it makes AI more useful
A child who can read code gets far more out of these tools than one who can only take what they produce.
From Why kids still need to learn to code in the age of AI, a June 2025 position paper by the Raspberry Pi Foundation - an education charity with no classes to sell.
Not sure which one?
Bring them in. A free session tells you more in 45 minutes than any description can.
Open Monday to Thursday 4-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
