AI Classes for Kids Ages 10-14 in Frisco, TX

Children are already using AI. This is where they find out what it is doing - by training models themselves, and going looking for the places those models get things wrong.

How it works

A weekly class for ages 10-14, taken alongside Create or on its own.

What they actually do

Train image and text classifiers on data they gather themselves, then test them to destruction. Bias and failure are taught by finding them, not by being told about them.

Why it is not a lecture series

Every session ends with something that runs. A model a ninja trained and broke teaches more than an explanation of one.

Should Kids Still Learn to Code in the Age of AI?

AI can write code now. Here is why learning to code still matters, and what it gives a child.

Before you ask

Common questions

Is this just using chatbots?

No. Ninjas train and evaluate their own models, and the nine modules run from what AI is and how data shapes it through to building with it and judging when it is wrong.

Does my child need to code first?

No. AI can be taken on its own, and most ninjas take it alongside Create so they are coding at the same time.

Can they take AI without a core membership?

Yes. On its own it is one hour a week; added to a core membership it costs less.

How long does the whole thing take?

Nine modules and 71 lessons, at one class a week. This is a course a ninja works through over a long stretch rather than a short series.

Will they just use AI to do their homework?

The opposite is the point. A good part of the course is spent on where these tools are wrong, what they make up, and how to tell. A ninja who has broken a model on purpose is harder to fool with one.
