Minecraft Animation Camp for Kids in Frisco, TX
In this camp, ninjas will learn how to express themselves and let their creativity shine through storytelling and moviemaking in Minecraft®! Ninjas will work together to have fun crafting movie scenes, legendary stories, and an epic movie.

A team headquarters
Day one is a world set up and a base built together, which is also how a room full of strangers becomes a crew.
A movie set
Built to be filmed rather than lived in: sightlines, lighting and the blocks that read well on camera. They present it and say what they are proud of.
A legend story, performed live
Custom skins, a planned set, and the story acted out in the world rather than narrated over it.
An epic movie
Storyboarded, rehearsed, filmed and cut. Feedback from the other teams mid-week, then back in to fix it.
A premiere
The last afternoon is everyone watching everyone else's.

- By the end of this camp, ninjas will know how to change skins and use new lighting techniques in Minecraft®. They will also know how to record and edit videos on a PC.

Create is our core coding program, where a ninja builds real games in JavaScript and works up through the belts. The first session is free, so they can try it before you decide.

Common questions
Is this a coding camp?
No, and we would rather say so. This is filmmaking inside Minecraft: storyboards, sets, shots and editing. If your ninja wants code in their Minecraft week, Modding or Robotics Coding is the one.
Which edition do they use?
We run it on Education Edition or Java, and either way everything is set up here on our machines.
Do they need to be good at Minecraft already?
It helps and it is not required. The first morning is spent getting everyone moving around and building together.
What do we get at the end?
The finished film, exported on the last day.
